The contribution of rural entrepreneurs to the conservation of biodiversity in Kazakhstan

Rural entrepreneur from Kazakhstan Ryash Stambekov has been engaged in beekeeping for many years. Six years ago he took a loan within the“Eco Damu” Program, supported by the United Nations Development Programme in Kazakhstan,  which helped him further expand his business.

Today the history of Kazakh beekeeper is a success story of how "green" business contributes to the conservation of biodiversity.
